Meet the First Cohort: 25 Pilot Beneficiaries

The Pilot Launches

FG-CAF's Phase 1 pilot is officially underway. 25 beneficiaries across Port-au-Prince and surrounding communities have been selected for the inaugural cohort.

Who They Are

The pilot cohort includes:

• 12 microenterprise vendors — small commerce and inventory
• 6 agricultural producers — crops, livestock, and storage
• 4 women-led businesses — household enterprise growth
• 3 artisans — tailors, mechanics, and equipment expansion

Training Before Credit

Every beneficiary completed mandatory modules in financial literacy, business planning, and responsible borrowing before receiving their loan. This is non-negotiable — training precedes credit.

What Comes Next

AVM volunteers will mentor each beneficiary monthly, tracking repayment and flagging early warning signs. As loans are repaid, the revolving fund will expand to the next cohort.
